Company History/Philosophy  - Source One Property Management is owned and operated by Richard Nave and Lois Miller-Nave. Together, they have 45+ years of business and interper­sonal management knowledge combined with 16 years of property management experience. The result is a highly organized, intensely personal, and professional approach to the property management business.

 

Quality property management requires an efficient organization, attention to detail and timely execution. Source One Property Management exceeds in all of these areas. Their approach to property management differs from most other property management organizations. Unlike most property management companies, they provide personal, individualized attention to each property in their portfolio. Each property has a unique set of opportunities and problems. Their focused management style concentrates on maximiz­ing the advantages.

 

It is their philosophy that it takes the same effort to operate a property management business efficiently and with positive ethics as it does to do a bad job. They treat their owners and tenants with respect, which results in long-term business relationships.

Richard Nave  - Richard was born in Los Angeles and has resided in the Los Angeles area his entire life. After a brief stint in the U.S. Army, Richard received his BA degree in liberal arts from UCLA and a MBA from Pepperdine University.

 

From 1965 until 1985 Richard was involved in the cosmetics distribution business. In 1986 Richard decided to change careers, received his California Real Estate sales license and joined Daum Commercial Real Estate and eventually Grubb & Ellis Commercial Real Estate. Richard received his California Real Estate Brokers License in 1990.

 

In 1994 Richard created Source One Property Management with one client and one apartment building located in Sherman Oaks. Since then the company has expanded into 65 clients and 70 locations from Downtown to Inglewood and from Glendale to Chatsworth. We currently provide property management services for 670 residential tenants and 49 commercial tenants located in 77,000 S.F. of commercial space.

  

Lois B. Miller - Lois moved to Los Angeles in 1984 from Riverside California. She had a successful 25-year professional career in sales and marketing. Prior to joining Richard in Source One Property Management she was a full time Mediator in private Practice. She holds a California Real Estate Brokers License. Lois is the Director of Leasing for the company.
